Yonex ArcSaber 008 (AS008) is the first middle performance badminton racket released by Yonex within the ArcSaber series. The ArcSaber 008 (AS008) badminton racket has similar material as its older high performance ArcSaber rackets with less of the other bell and whistles that made the Arc Z and Arc 10. Instead of using the Cup-Stack Carbon Nanotube, the ArcSaber 008 (AS008) badminton racket uses a more economical NanoAir Spring technology on the frame. By introducing Nanoair Spring into the resin which binds the carbon fibres, nanoscale air bubbles in the material help the racquet to flex and bend as in a spring. The result is a better transfer of energy from string-bed to shuttle for a more powerful shot.
